Been live coding a bit in #supercollider - a language I know pretty well. But even with jitlib I’ve not found it ergonomic. A sane person would have gone to TidalCycles or Strudel or Sonic Pi and had a blast…

@t36s Thank you for chiming in! If you know Sonic Pi, that’s actually somewhat similar to what @samaaron does there. SC also lets you set seed values, I believe, though I haven’t used it myself.
But let me understand better: Is the ambition to set seed values per pattern/stream ad hoc? Maybe reuse that seed to get repeated streams per n cycles/bars? Then change the seed whenever you want?
