I take presentations incredibly seriously.
Anyway here's me talking about sourdough baking at a quantum physics conference.
I'm pleased to announce that this work has been accepted for a talk at Quantum Computing Theory in Practice!
See you all in Oxford this April!
New arXiv manuscript! In this work we explore how two techniques originally developed for implementing logical gates on static quantum error-correcting codes can be extended to Floquet codes.
The full paper is freely available to read here: https://arxiv.org/abs/2512.17999
Thank you to my colleagues at Nu Quantum for their valuable discussions throughout this work, and an especially big thank you to Bhargavi Jonnadula as my co-author.
This week I'm in Merton College, Oxford for Seeking Quantum Advantage.

TransActual have released their guidance on how to respond to the EHRC consultation.
https://transactual.org.uk/equality-act-campaign/responding-to-the-ehrc-consultation/
TL;DR: the guidance is a mess, with organisations putting themselves at legal risk if they try to comply.
The consultation is open until 30th June, so take your time and remember you don't have to rush. This stuff is heavy and your own mental wellbeing should be your first priority.
Bookmark the link, have a rest, and respond when you're ready to do so.

@Reborn_Cat_Mom@chaosfem.tw I've been replaying Starfox Adventures for nostalgia sake lately
@fak@toot.community the consultation is obscenely long and hard to respond to, which makes it even more appalling that they thought a mere two weeks for responses would be sufficient
