The Weimar Republic was more profitable… well no, maybe not. But you get the sentiment.

I guess he's trying to insult them. I think he's confusing praising allah with picturing muhammed. I gues he'll learn eventually and his next tweet will be some horrible AI generated depiction of muhammed.

It's definitly not sexual content. They mean nudity and porn and stuff. That's not in this... I hope

This is actually pretty cool. I had a giant snail as a pet once. I imagine a leech is much like that. (Except for the blood thing, of course)

You could combine the two, by saying that developing a new feauture for an open source project, is you new project.

There are some very decent outside-internet solutions. I have one of those solutions at home and it's a joy to work outside.

I'm not sure about the technicallities, but yes, that's my experience. Yesterday I had someone delete a post while I was commenting on it and when I pressed send, it gave an error. I could still see the post, because I had it loaded in my app, but when I went to look at the poster, they didn't have it in their history anymore. I could still navigate back to the post then, but now I can't find it anymore.

Meta announcement soon: "We made an update to our privacy statement. The most significant change is that we have now explicitly stated that you, the user, are in full control of your account and your data and you will have a lifelong, exlusive right to that data. We are doing this in the users best interest and comply with privacy regulations."
Conveniantly leaving out that they're effectively changing nothing except that you now loose all rights to your data and your account after you die.

Im not sure. A while, maybe up to half a year, doing one or two videos per week. But I tried not to rewatch every video, because it was so awkward. Sometimes I have to though and at some point, in that first half year, it stopped being awkward.

If this prank works, than it’s fine. It must be a big, inpersonal, corporate monster for them to not know if a person exists or not. If you don’t know that there is no new “Jordan” in your team, the team that you’re floor manager of, than you and your company can afford to be pranked.

They want that. I watched an interview with Astra Taylor about “end time fascism” in America (and the world).

The narration (only a bit) is in Dutch, but the interview in English

I just quit my job. We have a dotnet application running that I didn’t write, but I’m the only one who knows a little dotnet, so I took care of it. My handover will be this, or “learn dotnet”.
