Not sure I can put up with Twitter for much longer due to the now irrelevant slurry of crap coming into my timeline.
I have a Mastodon tab open but rarely check it, though I did this morning and whaddayaknow? Stuff I'm interested in!

@davidallengreen@mastodon.green In summary, the complicated set of tools available to challenge wrongdoing by a government are there, but are useless without somebody steeped in their function to wield them in concert to challenge that wrongdoing.
I work in IT and would consider the last 6 years a high-level stress test of a system. If I wrote the summary report on the test, I'd list many priority-zero-level items to be addressed with critical urgency to safeguard against this kind of thing happening again.
