Because in karaoke your genital orifice is not penetrated by a foreign object for the first time

So for you karaoke and being internally penetrated is similar, that's fine. But I'm assuming you have the command of your senses to realize that this is not a normal point of view, peobably not a healthy one either.

Once again, that’s just a slippery slope to victim blaming. “Couldn’t you just have… thought about it differently?” Like I said, you’re not being subtle.

But if someone says “Take my side or you’re a murderer” they don’t care about the kids, they just want to use their moral stance as an excuse for social dominance, which is why many people end up resisting “good causes” to defend themselves against the garbage energy that’s hidden behind their “morally justified” anger. In reality someone either has a sensible opinion or they don’t, and you’re not gonna pressure anyone into changing their mind with force anyway, so it’s just a self-serving excuse to take your neuroticism out on other people.

It’s disappointing because we don’t talk more about what it should be like. We don’t expect men to do better about it. If someone had taught me how important it was and what things were at stake for women’s first time, I’d have done it a lot differently. Many women, if not nearly all, carry trauma from their first time as well.

That actually makes it worse. Trauma is healed by being acknowledged, not trivialized.

No it’s not. You don’t get define whether trauma becomes part of your identity, it forces you to make it part of your identity. This is really offensive.

No, it’s because you don’t understand trauma at all apparently. It’s not the cultural conversation around your first time that causes it to be traumatic. It is that your first time experiencing anything, is when you are most susceptible to create strong associations around it. Much more so in any intense experience. I’m trying to tell you that this idea that trauma is intellectually malleable is extremely offensive, because that is not how it works.

The reason you have a lot of respect for him, is because he’s basically acting as atheist as you can while still being the pope. That’s great for atheists like us, but it makes him a terrible pope.

If the cat does that, it’s because it doesn’t actually understand that it’s hurting you. Start making a big “YELP” and clearly show that you are in pain when it does it, and it will gradually start to be more gentle. It doesn’t understand that you don’t have fur that protects it the way it does.

Well it’s kind of like this. Imagine you hate watching football, right? But then you watched a football game and you loved it. If someone who hates football loves a football game, then it’s not a good game. It would have to be too fundamentally different from what people enjoy in football games to be a good football game. So if atheists are crazy about a pope who is a religious figure, then, it’s not a good pope, you know? I love the Pope, but let’s face it, he’s just adhering to atheist values as much as possible while being the pope. That’s great for us, but it’s not great for people who are not atheists, get it?

What a stupid take. Virginity is special because it’s your first time doing something very intense, intimiate and potentially painful and overwhelming. You need it to be with someone who cares about you so they can make it a good experience. It’s not some victorian-purity BS, it’s actually practically sound.

Yeah, go tell sone of your female friends in real life that karaoke is comparable to their first time. I’m sure you will, because they’re totally comparable and you’re not a troll, right? I’ll wait for your screenshot showing how they reacted. No further replies until then.
