There ought to be a black book of capitalism. Imperialism only imports the suffering of yesteryear for NA-Europe where the trauma is well contained in the commodities to fit the bill for the old reaper of scarcity.

I know this is only somewhat related but if we wait to develop the technology necessary to “go straight to communism” by that time humanity will not survive long I don’t think. Without socialism we would see the climate crisis intensified beyond our current conceptions of the worse case scenario with full ecological collapse for complex life by or shortly into the 22nd century. Not to mention the type of powerful automation needed for the obsolescence of wage labor if developed by imperialism would be so unsafe I don’t see anything but catastrophe. Only socialism can save humanity or moreso complex life on earth from the worst of climate change & an automatic hell.

lol I’m a Hoxhaist so I agree with that sentiment. This post is more so about Marxist solidarity against liberal slander specifically. “Tankie this” “authoritarian that” “book club, etc.”. Theoretically based criticisms are always welcome, don’t get me wrong.

Bias baked into the models may make them deny genocide, smear socialism, say climate change is up for debate. Basically Ai is and will be used to do capitalist-imperialist propaganda because people trust it blindly. It’s already being used for genocide denial.

The worst part about Keynesian economics is that it scapegoats the capitalist class which shouldn’t exist in the first place. They get away with not paying Jack shit because people believe deficit spending is this neat little inflationary trick that doesn’t hurt the capitalist class on the back end because they control prices. After our debt crisis when the dollar loses its world reserve status the system will blame social programs instead of its inherent rot born of profit.
