@witchgirls@woof.tech I was under the impression that your main problem with it was that it was a lie machine, in context with your original post. Yeah it's an environmental hazard, but what does enabling or turning a blind eye on those harassing others for using it do, exactly? I think that turning on somebody who merely accepts contributions to solve the planet burning from something they're not even related to is a little bit misguided.

@witchgirls@woof.tech IMO if the environmental hazard is what you're worried about, you should be focusing on bringing this into the attention of people who *can* do things about it, such as people who can actually ban it (and good riddance to it if they do).

@maddy@thegayagenda.fans If I'm being honest, for the most part, I kind of agree with Linus on this one. I don't think the SW comment is a good one to make, but also I think I can agree with him that "natural intelligence" isn't all that great either. I think that if people use things responsibly, that it's a bit too much to say that a project has been "poisoned". In the first place, since you said you don't know enough about coding, why do you think you can say that?
