Why all the hype around H2? Especially for heating and for cars?

Convinced, that the human species is worth surviving on planet Earth. We'll have to protect this wonderful planet.
The consumption of fossil fuels causes the by far most extensive irreversible change humans force on Earths biosphere. This can be changed and key for such a change is the improvement of energy efficiency. Results of our research can be found on
Entwicklung verschlafen?
Why?
Simple reason: "natural" gas needs to be sold. high investments had been made in the gas system (mainly in distribution). Now: part of the investments are already lost (e.g. blown up pipeline & still 9% less consumption after the crisis caused by the war). This is a difficult problem for these assets: It is surprising to learn how many institutions & people are shareholders.
So, reduce natural gas consumption? God forbid!
No conspiracy theory, these are economic facts.
"Post-truth-world"
May be, priority #1 now has to be: To develop past the "post-truth"-hype.

11:22 "No one is to blame for this, it's an act of nature."
The truth is: We (in the industrialized world) are at least partially responsible for storms like this gaining power; due to excessive CO2. It's time to reduce burning of fossil fuels.
There are solutions which won't hurt: renewable energy generation, improved efficiency, switch to electric power if possible. It will improve living standards, stimulate the economy & prevent the most dangerous developments.
