You may notice this the next time you're at a McDonald's drive-thru
The fast-food giant said during the company’s Investor Day presentation Sept. 23 that it is launching the McDonald’s Media Network, a new advertising business that will allow other companies to place ads across McDonald’s digital platforms and restaurant screens.
McDonald’s began testing the idea in August 2026 at 450 company-owned U.S. restaurants, the chain said during the presentation. This does not include franchisees which are independently owned and operated.
The pilot features advertising from other companies on digital drive-thru menu boards after customers place their orders.
Between this, dynamic pricing, and the god awful food and service, there is no reason to keep eating this trash.

The new trump coin, is it AI?
Guy’s I suspect this is AI. What makes me thing so is the right side of trump’s jacket looks way too short, even when you take into account perspective. It still made me laugh though.

Oh my god. I don’t know if I should laugh or cry. Somewhere in an alternate universe, Trump and Elon got caught in the towers and died. I would like to go to that universe.

I've put 4000 miles on my e-bike in the past 2 years. Even though I follow traffic laws, I've seen far too much fuckery by other e-bike riders. I'm seeing children riding e-bikes and scooters, without helmets, doing crazy shit in the middle of the road almost cause accidents. I have narrowly avoided hitting such children on 3 separate occasions. I see plenty of adults on these things also not following traffic laws and riding these things on busy sidewalks.
I really do not want e-bikes to be regulated like cars. Being forced to register and carry insurance makes an inexpensive thing expensive. That being said, there are tons of dumb assholes out there that will ruin it for the rest of us.

If this had happened a year earlier, before we were sold to a conglomerate, I probably would have just helped this guy with his external state appeal on company time, to be petty about being forced to work the phones at all, and kept working the job. I've helped plenty of others do external appeals when I knew the review team was dead wrong.
Helping that last guy after I quit wasn't about me being nice, or caring about my community. It was about lashing out at a company that treated me as subhuman, and forcing them to follow the fucking law, which cost them money. The fact that someone benefited from my rage after quitting was just the cherry on top.
Now I do benefits for about 1800 state employees, and it warms my heart when I can help one of our employees get shit paid for after it's been denied. Health insurance companies are the devil incarnate, and I've made it my personal mission to make sure they all follow the letter of the law and our written contracts when it comes to the employees in my agency.

This sparks joy. Sometimes the only way to get a raise is to jump ship. It makes me happy that you know your worth, and you fight for it!

To provide a little bit of context here; rats are pretty big, and can be difficult to handle when you are doing approved in-vivo studies. When entering a tunnel like structure, the plastic cone, their instinct is to scoot forward. So once they scoot, you close the plastic cone behind them. Now you can easily flip them on their back and administer a sub cutaneous, or intraperitoneal injection of what ever medication you are doing in-vivo studies on through the plastic. Doing your injection cleanly and quickly minimizes the stress on the animal. For someone like me, who wasn't comfortable handling them, it made it easier for me to do the work as quick as possible, less stress for everyone involved.

One of the reasons the petroyuan was created was that Russia, Venezuela and Iran may be able to avoid the United States' sanctions, so nations such as Saudi Arabia, one of the main oil producers and extractors could avoid dollar hegemony and U.S. pressure. The yuan's main problems are its volatile liquidity and short scale extension, however the Chinese government intervened increasing its gold reserves to back the petroyuan.

NYC native here. I grew up in Spanish Harlem. Parking in the city is still garbage, as is driving in the city. When I visit family down there, I drive to Poughkeepsie and take the Metro North into Manhattan. Was double parking to unload equipment, and then driving away to find a spot not an option?

>People I know, most of them rely on texting to their little chatgpt in their phone to get through day to day tasks, algorithms chose what they watch, now Language learning models decides what they do throughout their life- We are supposed to learn shit ourselves, if we cognitively Offload every shit from our brain- We are just making ourselves more stupid.
That's what they oligarchs want. They want us ignorant so we will be good little wage slaves and consumers.

Charle's and Boyle's gas laws. PV = nRT. As the temperature rises it creates a sudden increase in the volume and pressure of the immediate air. The increase pressure and volume in a closed room forces the fan blades to turn.
