Did you know the barnacle goose was once considered a fish?
In County Kerry, Ireland, until relatively recently, Catholics observing Lenten meat restrictions were allowed to eat barnacle geese because they were believed to be more like fish than birds. This unusual tradition traces back to a medieval belief that barnacle geese emerged from driftwood covered in goose barnacles rather than hatching from eggs!

Truth is we could really use a bit of financial help. Our debts are pretty crippling and we struggle to keep them from growing.

I have no idea if i can even do it well enough, so Imma start by doing some for free (tips always welcome though, but not until I have delivered something decent).
They are only gonna be pencil sketches for the time being, but if we like the sketches, I can explore redoing it in Photoshop full color down the road.
SO, if you'd like to give me a shot, let me know what you'd like. I can do fursonas, animals, dragons, and other creatures, but please keep things SFW.

In my line of work, Canadian public service, we have to be mindful of colors we use in our promotional graphics. We have to make sure they are non-partisan, meaning that they don't look like they are affiliated with a political party. That means that for all of the 5 following colors, we have to be careful to not use them too predominantly:

Seeing purple as the most popular color here, it's surprising that you don't see political parties with purple as their primary color. Why not? Is there a political party using purple as their main color where you live?

This bird is ready for the Pride parade! Meet the Nicobar Pigeon, a bird found on small islands and in coastal regions from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India, east through the Indonesian Archipelago, to the Solomons and Palau. It is the closest living relative of the extinct dodo. It likes to roam in flocks from island to island, usually sleeping on offshore islets where no predators occur and spends the day in areas with better food availability, not shying away from areas inhabited by humans.

Today's feature animal is ready for the Carnival Parade! Named the Ocellated Turkey, this stunning bird resides primarily in the Yucatán Peninsula, Mexico, as well as in parts of Belize and Guatemala. A generalist in terms of its feeding habits, it is known to feed on a wide variety of forage. It spends most of the time on the ground and often prefers to run to escape danger rather than fly, though they can fly swiftly and powerfully over short distances. Roosting is usually high in trees away from night-hunting predators.
