GitHub's CVE issuing is really not good. I have two pending patches to release, and GH has taken a month so far. Researchers are now threatening to release zero-days as a result.

@noodlemaz@mstdn.games I moved to France long before Brexit, and was shocked to see many Brits here vote to leave, resulting in them no longer being able to live here! My wife and kids already had French passports, and I got mine 4 years ago. I've worked 100% remotely since 1994, and all my clients are outside France, which strangely enough makes the paperwork slightly easier.

@afilina@phpc.social No, I'm fine with an email loop on signup. What is annoying me more is those sites that seem to do it for almost every login, even when you have passkeys or TOTP 2FA. It's got to be a marketing antipattern, to annoy the less-frequent users who are most likely to stop using your site!
It's even worse for sites that do this, and then don't allow enough time for access code messages to arrive due to greylisting, resulting in a near-lockout.
There's a local free music festival on next month. Last year they had Bloc Party and Franz Ferdinand (who were great) headlining, but I think I'm getting too old as I don't recognise any of the bands playing this year, except for Babyshambles! Anyone know any of this lot? Recommendations?
Been getting some very odd phishing messages claiming to be from the hotel I'm staying at for a conference (with the correct conference and hotel names and dates), asking me to confirm my dates. I checked with the organisers and it's not them. Very strange!

@m1ke@phpc.social It claims Markdown support, but it's pitiful, in particular it won't convert on paste, only while interactively editing each individual formatting element, which is largely pointless. No tables either. What's more, there are loads of gdocs extensions that fail to do it too!
