In Baki, Musashi enters his fight against Retsu with a cloth tied around his chest/back. I assumed this was just for later in the fight when he binds Retsu with the cloth, but I recently saw something interesting. I came across a reel on insta where it was a guy wearing what seemed to be the same style of clothing that Musashi was wearing (idk what it’s called) and he tied a cloth around his body the same way Musashi did, but it actually has a purpose! As he tied it around himself, he actually was pulling up his sleeves along with the cloth to keep them tighter to his body (:
