@camertron You can use computers with Microsoft operating systems and software. But I guess you want everybody to be similarly inefficient.
Just a hint to editors. Do not send #Microsoft documents on to reviewers as you receive them. They may give lots and lots of information away.

Why are they doing this to us? I want this book! Why do I have to download 15 files instead of the book? Did these publishers ever talk to their costumers?

I work in syntax also a bit on morphology and semantics. Stuff is implemented in computer-processable grammars. This is (old-school) computational linguistics.
Various languages, mainly Germanic.
