So normally beastility would be a disqualification for employment in the FBI, but for some unknown reason Kash Patel is removing that restriction. Kash Patel supports beastiality.

These are very good dead beetles. Please don't compare them to peppercorns.

If you'd like we could grind up the beatles and reconstitute them into peppercorn sized balls for you

Imagine your surprise when you go up and find that he's not only up there, but he's remodeled it and it's nicer than the downstairs.

When I used to swim we'd be told to just swim it off. Calf, foot, right above the knee were all things you could kinda dead leg and use the flip turn to unkink, but now and then you'd get a hamstring cramp and that's when you just sink and stretch. There is no negotiating with a hamstring cramp.

Can we talk about Bigfoot, I've been dying to talk about Bigfoot
Bigfoot is one I lean more to it existing. There's a lot of circus around the people looking for it, yes. But I've seen/heard enough accounts of interactions that do I believe there's some common denominator it all.
Is there a smoking gun? No, but I do think the wilderness is wilder than we think. Like whatever is absolutely booking it along this cliff.
Then this one, definitely just a dude in a suit... doing a masterclass in practical effects? I don't know. That's not a small tree.
I think there's a better chance of something big, smart, and strong bipedal in the woods than the WH for sure.

I know I’m not the only one who has been scratching their head at all the doomsday cries around AI that have suddenly rose up. Especially as it seems as if all those calls are coming from inside the house.
Play on fear hard enough and you have people not worrying about the actual limitations of LLMs. My worry is that they shift the goalposts hard enough that instead of them asking for a bailout, the narrative becomes them being nationalized for our safety with guys like Elon sitting at the head of a new governmental department or something. Government buys all this dead weight of an industry and the tech fascists get a permanent seat at the table.

If someone made a giant datacenter on my private minecraft server, what would be the best way to sabotage it?

My vision is still fucked up from when my eyes rolled to the back of my head from hearing my Grok attached overweight uncle say we’re all going to live to 120.
My tin foil hat theory is it’s to push these boomers and X’ers further into stock market greed because they’re now scrambling to secure retirement savings for a few decades they hadn’t planned for.

I mean name a stock more divorced from reason and driven by greed than TSLA right now. Dude literally has more to lose than anyone.

While I believe we could one day reach some form of AI, it ain’t going to be from LLMs.

There are some people who are visually impaired who are using them so maybe violent knee jerk responses should be tempered.

She’s got a PHD in computer science, she gives a good explanation of exactly how the recent advancements in self improving AI work and under what conditions.
She’s not a racist (as far as I’ve seen), like Hossenfelder.

Pay attention to history. Supply crunches like this are followed by supply glut.
There’s a reason why a company like SanDisk is signing multi year fixed price contracts now with the big data guys. That’s not a bet on hardware prices continuing to rise.

Kirby wasn’t ever on Mr Rogers, but jazzy stuff like him definitely was.
In the near 1000 episodes of the show, each had a unique intro played live in studio. Johnny Costa and Rogers himself were at the core of it, but there were a lot of jazz greats local to the area who played on the show.
Rogers wasn’t just someone who was full of empathy, but he didn’t talk down to kids and his complex music selection embodied that.

No particular order:
Vampires: The Masquerade - Bloodlines
Star Wars Galaxies (pre-cu)
Ultima Online
Disco Elysium
Gizmos and Gadgets
Ultima, SWG, and Gizmos and Gadgets were more about the memories of playing them with friends/family.
SWG still has some unique mechanics that I still view as the high tide of major publishers willing to take risks on complexity. Game was probably too ambitious for its own good.
Vampires had a high level of jank even years after release, but boy did they nail the ambiance/music/open approach to quests for the time. Shame about the sequel.
