New animation!
Relatively simple one, but I actually used reference images for it (thanks to my girlfriend!) so LOOK AT THOSE HANDS THEY ARE SO GOOD!

Progress has been made on my jRPG combat system.
Next : make the enemies attack and die. End combat.
When I was a kid, I was amazed by my friend's hard drive capacity of a whole gigabyte on something as big as a brick.
Nowadays there are storage devices with 1 terabytes capacity that are as small as my fingernail.

So I have this code base for Game Maker that I called "Super State Engine". It's filled with cool features, I used it with many projects and it's very handy.
BUT the code is very bad and filled with dependencies. So I started re-coding it in a very modular way.
Been casually working on this for the past two days so I guess my progress is not too bad.
A young Québec game dev I met recently released Melty Way, a precision / puzzle platformer where "you move, you melt".
- Eat to grow, move to shrink
- Manage your size to fit in tight spots
- 6 worlds to explore
New Star Fox 64 remake looks really good and seems to be very faithful to the original. But new cinematic cutscenes? This will just slow down the pace of the game.
Challenge mode looks fun though. In any case, it's a pass for me. I'm quite happy booting up my old N64 to play the original.
I really like making games even though I often hate it.
