We housed some family for 2 weeks, 3 kids & 2 adults, which means increased utilities. Utilities & food is all I'm fundraising for this month. We're running out of bread and I need cat food and litter. The food & litter is 40 bucks & will last a month 300 utilities (electric, gas, water) 200 food. Also, something I haven't actually talked about with anyone is how both COVID and my thyroid surgery have changed my voice. Weakening my vocal muscles, pulling the top of my range down out of soprano 2 to alto 1 and yanking up the lower range. I am still learning my new range and trying to strengthen my lungs and vocal cords without professional assistance and trying to avoid further harming my voice. But I shouldn't have to tell anyone my private business to not get trotted out like a pony!

That's really the part that drives me up a wall, cuz of course I can't just refuse to perform on demand. No, whenever anyone claims they have a performing arts skill there's always someone that demands it be displayed at their request and any refusals are inevitably met with mockery. Obviously if I don't perform tricks on demand then that means I can't do it right? That's the only explanation, right? I either perform or be taunted, insulted, bullied, mocked, dismissed. Like fuck all the way off

My baby's been complaining about her tummy hurting off and on for a while yet still being hungry and I'm worried she has a food sensitivity. Both me and her father have food allergies, so it wouldn't surprise us, but that means testing. We're starting with gluten cuz she eats so much flour products cuz kids are picky. Ultrasound came back 99% normal. The nodule they've been watching since my surgery has gotten bigger so my surgeon wants me to get it biopsied. The nodules on the right half (that got removed) ended up benign so I'm trying not to overthink it. #disability #NEISvoid #ChronicIllness

Ya'll really need my ID, my social card, my birth certificate, medical records to prove my disability AND a bank statement 😩 This is the reason that the SAVE Act is voter disenfranchisement that specifically takes aim at stripping Black and indigenous people and women of their rights. I haven't had my birth certificate in more than ten years and it's "expensive" at 30 bucks to get a new one and I still have to wait for it #disability #poverty

I would be surprised if my grandmother knew where her birth certificate was, or my parents. Like, I'm sure my mom and stepmom do, but my dad and my mom's ex? If they have theirs it's only cuz of their wives. I've got my husband's and kid's, but mine got lost way before we moved out, so. Like I haven't needed it! And going to the office of vital records is torture! My ID and social security card are enough for employment, so it was never a priority! #disability #poverty

Thankfully I can do shit online now, but also replacing it has tripled in price! It used to be ten dollars! And it's gonna take possibly until the 28th for me to get it. I had to do the stupid cashapp borrow thing because I need it. I can't wait for the generosity of strangers to try and get this important piece of paper to get into a program to try and get some money rolling in.

Gene sequencing on my biopsy just came back. Haven't spoken to the doctor yet, but I'm not looking forward to it. She's likely going to recommend removing the other half of my thyroid. The nodule on that side has almost doubled since it was noted in 2024. She might be willing to watch it, but idk

Had a biopsy on a thyroid nodule today. That shit hurt so bad 😩 it hurt way more than the first one. The nodule is deep asf compared to the one from the right side, so that's why. Whole left side of my neck hurts. Hurts to swallow. Fingers crossed it's still benign #Disability #DisabilityPrideMonth
