Breathe, with the rhythm
of the tides, and the peace found
in the sea's stillness.

mastodon 4.7.3Pagan. Greek learner. Welsh.
Cursed by poetry, with no hope the night will end. At least, not in this incarnation. Έτσι είναι η ζωή.
I feel old, and weary. Time is an illusion. The same phrase, always, in my heart: "I want to go home "
Header: Wheel of Hekate; white patterned, perforated disc, on "starfield" background
Avatar: black & white image, dark background; bearded male, short hair, round spectacles, pipe in mouth, staring at camera. Side of head to left of image in shadow.

You have made an impression.
In fact, you have made an impression on each other.
(... and, maybe, you have found an alternative career option as a surf instructor! 😁)

Θα σε ξαναδώ αύριο.
Αλλά με μπέρδεψες – "αγορά" στα ελληνικά σημαινει: "Marketplace". Αναρωτήθηκα αν πήγαινες να κάνει το ψώνισμά σου...!

I cannot argue with such an authority.
Though I can narrow my eyes in transatlantic disapproval... 😁

Is that the normal US spelling? Usually "oestrus" round here, and I am even old fashioned enough to favour "œstrus"

Is that another way of saying "Go to bed, grandpa lawyer; you may over exert yourself otherwise"? 😆

In part.
If the reading is used as an entrance into the symbolic world of mental imagery.
If the imagery is allowed to develop in a sort of organic process of growth.
But I have known those who deliberately read much, but limit the subject matter and / or with very narrow interpretation, so as to stifle further expression. These turn words into traps, and build prisons out of books, to satisfy their sense of moral superiority.
And do not overlook the importance of other arts.

You sound on form. Recovered from yesterday's nausea? Did you berate your friend for her taste?

Sounds about right. I picture ten stone for a female as being "slim but comfortable".

A weight off your mind, hopefully.
I always find proof reading more difficult on a screen than on paper, for some reason.

That brings back memories. I studied Latin around 40 years ago.

Given the alternatives in the English speaking world, I'll stay where I am for now. I can think of politicians and governments even worse than we have here...
Though, I suppose I could go and polish up my Greek.
