Holy shit...

Blender have spent 8 hours to render my video, and it's not done yet.

I'm glad I'm using 24 FPS... not 60 FPS...

Can we do 2 FPS (hahahaha

Finished another interview, it was nice to take some ppl. But I don’t have confidence to get this job.

I dreamt about my Chinese ex boyfriend last night.

We were taking out of food at a food hall. He said if you want to eat together at hall. He will buy me a fruit tea. I said no, i prefer to go back to our home and eat then I left. When I stopped by a cross road. I regret, went back to find my ex. But I can’t find the way back. I tried different ways to back , but in the end , I found it’s the way to my parent’s home. On the way, I tried to avoid but still met my mom. She was yelling at me: “what are you doing?!”

Thoughts: I heard this song in last year, I h have an image in my mind. The Ryu is floating in the sea and slowly to sink to bottom. It's a sad song, but beautiful. It also reminds me, a EP from the anime: EVA. so I have an idea to make another MV based on my persona Ryu.

In the idea phase, it will have more cut scene, and tear and moon. During the actual work, I try to play something different:
1 use blender native video editing
2 use composition to create the bubble cut out effect (I have use it other Telegram sticker)
3 use geometry node to replace particle system, due to bad performance in my lil m2 chip MacBook AIR.

Yes, last week is a sad week, but I have started this project before it. It's just reason to force me to finish the project early.

I thought two times 8 hrs rendering, should be last round … but I was wrong. The English subtitles are wrong….
And the video editing part, usually is handled by CapCut. This time, I tried to do something different. Use blender owned video editing to add titles… which make my life harder a lot….

I was trying to have my real voice, but the audio recording is hard....

I managed to blow up Blender and my laptop...

how it could use 128GB memory? My poor MacBook, only have 24GB memory....

even it's virtual memory, but I don't have the physical memory space for it. and my disk only have less than 50GB...

I'm glad I hit Blender's limit in some weird way.

The Bubble effect is handled by Cryptomatte + View Layers. Here is a quick screenshot

I used geometry to generate the bubble in different view layer and use Matto to select them as alpha layer and use composite to cut it out as mask and also apply different color.

Due to the fact, I'm using the multiple layer composition, I can't preview the it in video editing (blender). I have to render the 4 mins video (for 8 hrs) to check it works fine in some details.

Every time, when I see a homeless , I always feel I will be next in the line to be them.
