A little quiet on #TOTW due to Easter and all that.
Here we go:
in the #NRL: it's #Manly's strong away win over the #Dolphins, giving them +46 on their rating. In #SuperLeague, #Warrington #Wolves dominating #Leigh #Leopards takes the spoils with +39; Finally, in the #Championship, #Newcastle #Thunder made +53 with a nice win over #Goole #Vikings. Thunder are underrated based on their recent weakness, so we might see them more often until their rating reaches a more accurate level. #rugbyleague

One thing about his whole project of rating all of the teams ever, and doing the analysis about it all, is that behind it all, there's a website with more than a decade's worth of half-baked ideas that have never been fully completed and thought through. Probably the must frustrating part of all this work.

Hence why most of the output happens in short-form messaging instead, that's easier at least, if terrible for actual consistency and being able to find information.

However, the floodlights have been hit by a power cut, so not much happening right now.

Apart from the top-level #rugbyleague this weekend including some lopsided #NRL scores so far, the revamped National Conference League kicked off this weekend. A more regionalised format below the top two divisions is an interesting, and probably sensible change. The National Cup has also been reinvigorated after becoming a shadow of its former self in recent years.

I detect some rumblings of discontent on the ground regarding these changes, but I'm not close enough to know details.

And oddly, #Leeds and #HullKR willbe kicking off in half an hour in Nevada. With a bit of luck, it'll be a better contest that last year's equivalent.
