I find non-intrusive banners asking for donations more than acceptable. And I agree with Thunbderbird parallel: seeing a reminder once in a full moon doesn't bother me. And if this helps development with funds - it definitely should stay.

I don't understand how else somebody can shot 15-minutes rant about how "project allowing users to disconnect their robots from cloud" is not ideal, and *not to mention once* how any and all vacuum manufacturers completely fuck over their customers with privacy.

I'm asking because I'm curious about MediKeep, but it looks a bit sus. (Reminds me booklore somewhat - it also looked sus, even though I couldn't put my finger on why, at the time) So maybe there is something you know, but wasn't ready to share it in newsletter? Oh, and thank you for site and letter! They help with discovery greatly.
