Replying to

@QasimRashid@mastodon.social You are cherrypicking the worst thing from the MAGA movement against the whole «ideological utopia» of the left. I am NOT defending either republicans, Trump or Musk, but as someone on the right wing in a scandinavian perspective; this comparison is false. We want free public healthcare, with freedom to also chose if we want to use private healthcare. We want free education, with the freedom to chose what school to go go. We just want more freedom, with the same benefits.

@Li@tech.lgbt @QasimRashid@mastodon.social Its not a «right wing value» that the state can commit violence. No more that it is a «left wing value» to send people to Gulag. You want «freedom» from law, police and education? But yes, the right wing favours rule of law, good education, reasonable taxes to fund welfare for those who need it, and a state which makes the framefork for a just, equal and a life as free of interference as possible. How would you have a good society without law and education?

The world wants cheaper energy.

The world also wants more AI, more data centers, more electrification, more manufacturing, and higher living standards.

These goals don’t point in the same direction.

Oil will play a larger role in the energy mix over the next decades than many investors currently expect.

What’s your view?

While everyone watches tech stocks, something else is unfolding:

grids, transformers, cables, turbines, substations.

The physical backbone of the digital economy is becoming a bottleneck. Bottlenecks tend to get priced.

Investing isn’t about being right every time.

It’s about being roughly right more often than you’re wrong, and letting winners compound.

Discipline beats excitement. Every time.

@punissuer@universeodon.com @SmashDan@mastodon.social @QasimRashid@mastodon.social Scandinavian capitalism is considered successfull though. The state must create the framework where Thors who create businesses or industries can do so, but still have good workers rights and taxes to finans welfare. Still, we need businessowners to create wealth.
