Thanks everyone for your enormous support. Paper Boat reached out, apologized and paid me for the license to use the drawing. It’s so sad that we have to do this shaming for something that is ours.
Never let them steal from you, artists deserve better.
I have been given the chance to play with a @remarkable Paper Pro tablet and I’m loving it. A few brushes to choose from (colour and texture were added in Procreate) and a non reflective screen that looks and feels like paper, but digital. The best of all: no notifications or distractions.
Imagine a newsletter subscription that includes also a yearly book. Something you could lick (not sure it'll taste good though, but you could!) or use as a pillow under your laptop, or take in bath with you. You know, a nicely offset printed object, fully made in Japan.
From today, ALL MundoMendo members get the books (a 30 euro value) for free.
Almost two years in and I still find explaining Mundo Mendo harder than one would think

I have decided to make an open edition of my most popular personal project. The Homestayer covers were only printed in a limited edition of 50 A3 size, but this time we are making them in A2 and A1 size for you. Available now on https://handsomeprovisions.com/collections/the-home-stayer
Thank you.
About Joann Sfar’s book ‘La Vie Dessinée’ and how his love for drawing makes me draw too.
Hot take: A society that allows convenience to overtake beauty betrays our humanity.
Those in charge of ordering the dustbins shouldn’t have a place at the design table.
💬🎧 I hope you enjoy my chat with the good people at Design Better. It’s one of my fav podcasts and Elijah and Aarron are fantastic humans. Give it a listen.
My youngest daughter will start school in two weeks and I am terrified.
Do all parents have the same or is it only those who had a miserable time at school themselves?

An open-hearted take on how I ended up using LLMs to do the boring work.

I was so happy today to learn that when we die, we become minuscule dust specks: carbon, oxygen, iron, calcium and other stuff. The stuff that forms stars.
Mendo's book is a beautiful reminder: create what you want to create and tell your own story. Even in a world full of distractions and AI, it finds its audience.
Thanks @rubenbos.co for your kindness.
Happy to be featured on this @creativeboom piece about Handsome Provisions, a curated print shop from the @HandsomeFrank team.
