And Spotify was barely making a loss AND had a lot of revenue. They were just putting more capital into infrastructure, etc. instead of profits.

You’re right! I did rack up $20,000 in AWS usage fees.

I’d only be mad about the theatrical release if they were like seemingly every other filmmaker and just never publicly release it. Or only on some shit tier streaming service with zero marketing and information saying it’s there.

Understandable. Every picture of J.K. Rowling looks like someone who looks like her but isn’t her.

The U.S. still takes aerospace safety very seriously, which is why it’s so safe.

Ok so include the URL in the text too. Keep the obituary encoded.

I am just confused by the AI text being on the sender side. Presumably this is a screenshot sent to you from this person?

First sentence is true second isn’t. Most of the water consumption comes from electricity generation. It’s like 5% 95%.
Also there’s no such thing as a truly closed system. But there are ones that use very little water to maintain pressure.

Some datacenters use no water because they’re thousands of times smaller than these new ones.

The U.S. has over 3000 datacenters, which is 10x 2nd place (Germany). Most are very small nondescript buildings near the airport.

The problem with windows and by extension microslop software is that the UI was made when computers were 1,000,000 times slower than they are today.

I don’t get why all these big companies just cannot be serious about anything they do. They’re always disorganized.

Yeah that makes sense. Wasn’t this the status quo anyway?
Just upload an encrypted tarball to a cloud service and retrieve it afterwards.

The reason why China doesn’t have this is because it’s legal to just spy on the servers the people living there use directly.

I was mostly referring to the semantics of the windowing, not application layout.

That’s what I thought happened I just figured the person who sent those messages wouldn’t want them more public.

Ehhhh… There’s so many issues with it. It is equivalent to if Microsoft Teams was a Matrix application. The problem is that the UI is so clunky, buggy, and in general not robust enough compared to other matrix applications. Other matrix applications just don’t have things implemented.

Oh, also, they’re just using Google Play for now. They’ll definitely be adding a generic CC option.
