🚨 new #preprint online! 🚨
We study structure-stability relations in #MultiplexNetworks , using #tree-#liana interaction #networks from #Ghana as inspiration. We show that the stabilising effect of #modularity heavily depends on intra-guild interactions and is largest in case of intra-guild facilitation, highlighting the need to study how patterns in inter- and intraguild interactions jointly affect #EcosystemStability.

The evolutionary emergence of #EcologicalNetworks has been studied for decades but usually focussing on one type of interaction at a time, even though organisms naturally engage in multiple interaction types simultaneously. The combined effect of different interaction types on diversification thus remains unclear - until now. 😜

Not sure this is helpful - but I had potatoes in pots on my balcony (in Germany) several times. Each time I simply waited until the above ground parts of the plants started to die off and then the harvest was very good.

Nein, nachfragen ist natürlich nicht verwerflich. Im Gegenteil! Fragen sind immer willkommen! Ich würde sowas ja nicht posten, wenn ich keine Lust hätte, mich dann auch dazu auszutauschen!
Aber: Aussagen zur Validität bitte erst dann posten, wenn man weiß, worum es geht. Sonst riecht es wirklich arg nach #mansplaining und davon haben wir Frauen in der Wissenschaft im Alltag wirklich schon genug…
