@MaryAustinBooks@mstdn.social When this type of tech was just getting started, I admit to being excited about it - but not for pervert reasons! Much of the initial promise was for industrial use (mostly because of cost). We were promised the ability to have wiring diagrams, how-to videos and even tech manuals right in front of our eyes as we worked on equipment. How helpful would that be! That promise evaporated pretty damn quickly in favor of the pervert market...
