We are finally live with our new update, it has been a long while and still a lot of dust. But check out the new and improved site!

New Features:
- Instances search and filters
- Sign up and write helpful articles for others in the fediverse
- Link your FurryFediverse Account to all your different Fediverse accounts for them to show up in our user directory where you can add tags to your account for easier searching

NOTICE TO INSTANCE ADMINS:
This is a fresh re-write you will need to resubmit your site to be listed by creating an account and following the steps manage your instances. Yes, you can now manage multiple instances from your account!

Hot fix release is completed to make the mobile experience more usable. Take a look at these screenshots!

Fixes:
- Mobile icon now shows your custom avi if you set in linked accounts
- Instances list is actually readable on mobile now
- Linking fediverse accounts is now actually manageable via mobile
- Force redirect users to www.furryfediverse.org when coming in without the www for CDN reasons... was causing issues with logins/registrations

Another HotFix + Re-introduced Feature from old site

Fixes:
- Deleting tags added to your profile in Linked Accounts page failing. Reported by @SteffoSpieler@fellies.social

New Features:
- Instance List is now shuffled and not sorted by user count
- User Profiles get same treatment as instances to be shuffled
- Narrowed scope for all platforms but Pixelfed (docs didn't specify oauth scopes), this was suggested by @feuerrot@chaos.social and @avery@furry.engineer

Fix Notice:

- Issues with signing in with your Fediverse Account has been resolved.

We apologize for the issues we had previously, CyberFurz has had to migrate a bunch of services from a provider who was giving us issues. We are happily back on RackNerd who has been rock solid and reliable for us. That said, you can now resume accessing https://furryfediverse.org again 💜

It's been a while, but we have fixed some bugs folks submitted on our GitHub.

- Replaced apps with maintained mobile apps
- We now cache instance thumbnails, instead of hotlinking to every instance thumbnail (some instances cdns were flagging in anti-virus software)
- Replaced find friends from Twitter with Fediverse People Directory searching on furry tag

Minor update, but we felt the need to let people know. We were using AWS EC2 Instance that ran on their Graviton processors and it was causing us some random outages. The site has been moved to one of CyberFurz LLC's regular x86_64 systems. We have also implemented a health-check that will restart the site's container when it detects and outage.

TL;DR: We moved the site to more reliable hardware with checks to keep it online automatically...

So I have bunch of left over cards... thinking about sending small batches to people who want to pass them out on tables at cons.

Major thanks for @LeoBurr@tiggi.es for helping us discover a bug with adding Misskey based instances to our platform when you don't have a banner image set. This has been corrected, we also took this opportunity to upgrade to a fresh version of NodeJS.

Apologies for what seemed like some outages on our site recently; when we switched to hosting our own DNS, our PowerDNS configuration wasn't honoring our imported ALIAS records for our root domain. This means it would still work if you went to www.furryfediverse.org, but if you went without the WWW, it wouldn’t. We have corrected this by placing on our load balancers a simple redirect that when you hit https://furryfediverse.org, you will be immediately redirected to https://www.furryfediverse.org/ to ensure that you are pulling the latest data from our CDN cache layer.

Thank you to @NafiTheBear@bears.town for pointing out the outage to us, as we never included this site in our monitoring tools at CyberFurz LLC as we focused on our Matrix and Mastodon instance... this has also been corrected now as well.

Hi there, we are considering going serverless. This would be most likely leveraging Cloudflare Pages and Workers, however we don't want to go this route if we are going to cut off a lot of users who block cloudflare... so please answer this poll and boost it for us.

Seems like some instances are not getting notification messages to finish their verification step. I have gone and manually approved these instances this morning. I will investigate this further.
