If only some public organization had organized a comprehensive effort to give, say, a three-letter code to every single human language, living or dead. That would be very useful.
https://iso639-3.sil.org/code_tables/639/data/all
And yeah, a tiny pinprick of mine is the way English Wikipedia is peppered with dumb microglyphs representing national flags that are supposed to have some bearing on a human language.

LineageOS and the like can be installed on many makes and models. GrapheneOS has always been kinda niche, because they provide a privacy-first environment that's only useful to highly committed users, and they don't even bother trying to support phones that would overburden their very limited resources. Currently that means Pixel 6/6a/6pro or later, Pixel Fold, or Pixel Tablet. Used Pixel 9a is typically available on ebay UK for £200 or so. @GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social

Trying hard to imagine why anybody would think sticking an armed remotely controlled drone on a ceiling had any role in pedagogy. How much do you have to hate kids for this to appear reasonable?

"A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in, and becomes absolute shitearse when those old men decide to cut down all the trees for firewood, salt the earth so nothing else can grow and call the younger generation lazy for not planting any trees."

What is true is that Kurt was literally in the closet while he worked on that song. No, I mean, he and Courtney had a large closet and he'd use it for practice and composition.

The eight lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over, but it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping. Why is that, Leon?

I'm used to both layouts, settling on ANSI because it's easier to source. But all my ThinkPads are European so they have ISO variants. My latest one has a German keyboard so the top alphabetic line starts "QWERTZ."
I don't really care about the key cap legends, as I use whatever is available to remap everything to my preferences, and I touch type anyway. Some of my keyboards even have completely blank keycaps because I like to play with the firmware.

Finally checked, and yes, there are a few private space-aware Android launchers available through FOSS release aggregators #Obtainium.
Trying some out now.

@julianlawson@beige.party @fishsauce@mastodon.social a related idea, paint-spraying drones, has generated a lot of industry interest.
