People underestimate the influence a single person can have on history. Without Hitler, there would have been no Nazi Germany. Without Trump, the Nazi movement in the US will fall apart. They’re certainly not going away but without a Führer they’ll just be a bunch of bickering factions. And none of the other fuckers will be able to rally their base the way Trump did.

A lot of modern art is based on art from indigenous cultures. In fact all cultural development is taking what is already there, doing a little remix and maybe adding a few new aspects.

Some people actually want their computer to just work, without having too much of a faff. For people like that something like Mint is a great option. If you have a lot of time and see mucking about with the computer as a hobby, installing Arch etc. can be fun. But for the rest of us it’s just not a sensible use of our time.
