@RepShontelBrown@mastodon.social I’ve been trying to call my senators but the calls are not going through. Is this because the switchboard is overloaded? Or has this function been somehow sabotaged by the administration?

@AlliFlowers@talkedabout.social @GottaLaff@mastodon.social I had breast cancer 3 times before my mastectomy and none of those tumors were detectable by touch. Believe me, they bruised me trying to feel them after they were found via mammograms.
@NMBA@mstdn.ca I don’t take this personally. I love our neighbors, Canadians and Mexicans, and I absolutely hate the current authoritarian regime that ignorant and apathetic Americans put in place. All that they have destroyed will not be restored in my lifetime, and my heart is broken. 💔
@NMBA@mstdn.ca This American agrees wholeheartedly. Please don’t come here. We don’t deserve your presence or the money you spend here. This regime will end, we will rebuild, and it will once again be safe for our friends from the North to visit.

@GottaLaff@mastodon.social My first diagnosis was at age 40. My baseline mammogram was at 35. I happen to really really disagree with the older requirements for baseline mammograms. I would be dead.

@Barbramon1@mas.to @RepShontelBrown@mastodon.social Exactly! If nothing else, our blue state representation needs to know we support their efforts and that we encourage them to do even more.

@Barbramon1@mas.to @RepShontelBrown@mastodon.social Also heard that@letters could go in the trash. My senators and congresswoman are democrats, so I’m sure they wouldn’t be discarded, but for gop reps and senators?🤷🏻♀️

@GottaLaff@mastodon.social I’m wondering if this action will bring the text messages into the light sooner than Jack Smith might have. Perry is a traitor and deserves everything he gets.

@tristansnell@mstdn.social Yes! We are 💯VBM in WA state, so I voted at my dining room table, voter’s pamphlet in hand, drove the ballot to a nearby dropbox, and signed up for text alerts for status. My ballot was received, signature was verified, and my vote will be counted. No fuss, no muss, no drama.
