Hey @Rusty@cubhub.social, don't you have thoughts on cross-network clients?

It sounds like an ok idea in theory, but also, I don't actually *have* a bsky account. I have a bridgy pseudo-account, but that's not something I can log into and actually access bsky with...

Which is often annoying, because most ABDLs on bsky have their profiles set to private, so I can't see them without logging in!

(Except that bsky doesn't actually have privacy at the network level, so you just open the link in skyview.social... but it's still a pain!)

I guess what I'm really saying is can I turn my @crinklesix.cubhub.social bridgy fed pseudo-account into a real account with that address?

@Rusty @odoben Yeah I had some ancient git-based dotfiles framework that's probably similar to the other one that was linked but also completely different, because that's just how those things go >.< Anyway after the initial push to mostly-set up a new machine, I never actually maintain it or sync anything beyond that and they gradually drift apart. But I did at least make a half-hearted effort to have the end of my .zshrc reference a ".local.zsh" that has the, well, local stuff, that's not committed to the repo.
