And look, the problem is not automation of labor including creative one, the problem is that during the last 40 years all the resources have been concentrated in a few thousand hands and they do not want to share. So we will be economically "useless" and powerless, faced with people who may see us as a very inconvenient hindrance.

@aoikurayami@mk.absturztau.be Ordering food is expensive and the logistics chain is still limited by physical constraints. AI can create art extremely quick for cheap and be marketed in minutes. The difference is there. Like you can still make art if you want to, but it will be extremely unlikely that anyone can make a living from it if promo art can be had and deployed in minutes, for pennies. So more people stuck going on the stupid grind in bullshit jobs they will hate.
This end of days will be a lot of days.

The point is not that art will disappear, the point is that it will remove lots of revenue opportunities for creative people and make any career path disappear. Pushing them back into "real jobs" that aren't good fits for them.
