For the last month, I've been working on mapping the town of Strathmore #Alberta in #OpenStreetMap . Happy to announce that, while addresses are still needing to be added, most if not all buildings in the town are now mapped.

@avilewis@mstdn.ca If the Prime Minister had any spine, he'd have banned ICE operations in Canada by now.
If he can't deal with an agency that has no power in Canada, my expectations are low when it comes to finally decrying the U.S. and Israel's blatant violations of international law.

@avilewis@mstdn.ca Honestly refreshing seeing this kind of maturity despite the the unfortunate situation it gives the federal party.
Glad that the NDP has had Alexandre's work ethic and compassion in the party, and looking forward to seeing what he delivers provincially.
Excited to assist in presenting at my local #ACORN Chapter Meeting today!
I can not express how disappointing Naheed Nenshi is whenever I hear him talk.
Listening to him being interviewed on the West of Centre podcast, and I kid you not it's a giant succession of non-answers from him, a tonne of empty words through and through, and the only time he happens to say anything of substance OF COURSE it's about his support for pipelines and fossil fuels.
If the provincial NDP keeps it's tone simply being in opposition of the UCP's policies without actually proposing any actual alternatives of their own as well as continue trying to somehow sway votes to their party by being pro-pipeline, they are kidding themselves if they think they have a shot of dethroning Smith.
Nenshi keeps claiming the provincial NDP is different from the federal NDP and that Albertans can see that. Maybe that's the damn problem.
Forgot to share yesterday, but stretch of the Trans Canada over by where I live was just outright filthy.
Only finished a portion of it with the five bags and five hours I had, but here's the haul. Hoping to sort out a regular community cleanup in the future seeing how much left there is to do.
