3. Discovering a new-to-me author I really like, who has written more than the one novel I just read - Vigdis Hjorth, Norway. Just finished Will and Testament, saving the next one, Repetition, for #WIT August. Very difficult to not just jump right in. Restraint. Temptation. Self-discipline.

August, next week already(!), is Women In Translation Month. Books written by women which are translated into English. It's a lot of fun, because it opens a window into very different worlds. Not only getting the woman's pov, to help balance against the traditionally male pov skew in literature, but getting a peek into what life is like in another country, with different traditions, different food... Wild yeast Elderflower Wit This is so good. Obviously I'm biased because I brewed it, but it's just so nice and refreshing and delicious. Elderflower is definitely present in the nose and flavor. Tastes great on a warm summer afternoon. #CurrentlyDrinking #Homebrewing #Beer #Wit #WildYeastFTW
