ICYMI: There’s a great documentary about the “Wishbone” series that aired recently on PBS (https://www.whatsthestorywishbone.com) I 1000% recommend tracking it down to watch

“Digging Up The Past” is based on the 1819 short story “Rip Van Winkle” by American writer, historian and diplomat Washington Irving”. You can read it for free here (https://archive.org/details/ripvanwinkle00irvi) or here (https://www.gutenberg.org/files/60976/60976-h/60976-h.htm)#MusComEnt #4thOfJuly #Wishbone #RipVanWinkle

Sooo yeah.. the drink is actually gin in the book “Rip Van Winkle” but there’s no way PBS would show a cute little dog getting hammered in a kid’s show
