On this day 47 years ago in 1979, "Alien" premiered. Alien has to be the best "Cassette Futurism" vibe ever put to film. #OTD #Movies #Film #Cinema #Alien #Aliens #RidleyScott #SigourneyWeaver #IanHolm #HRGiger #WeylandYutani #MUTHUR #Nostromo #LV426 #Nostromo #CassetteFuturism

Main villain Saito is played by Yūsaku Matsuda. I’m semi-surprised to see how famous he was as an actor, being the inspiration for Spike Spiegel. He was very sick with cancer when he made Black Rain and died shortly after filming. #BlackRain #RidleyScott

AL LEONG! #BlackRain #RidleyScott #AlLeong

One of the gangland bosses in this is played by Tomisaburo Wakayama. He’s famous for playing Ogami Ittō from the Lone Wolf and Cub series. #BlackRain #RidleyScott

This movie is ace! #BlackRain #RidleyScott
