Yes, You ARE Getting Auto-Rejected
According to a viral survey by Enhancv, 92% of recruiters do not use Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in order to auto-reject job applicants’ resumes. However, after reviewing all of the research, journalism, and government investigations into AI-driven HR hiring tools, I have determined that claim to be untrue.
Not only are most job applicants’ resumes getting auto-rejected most of the time, but there’s a mountain of evidence that they’re getting auto-rejected for all kinds of hidden and absurd reasons that have nothing to do with whether or not they’re qualified for the job.
In today’s video, we’re doing a thorough investigation into why the HR industry wants to convince us that ATS tools are “fair” and “objective” when they’re not, what the research actually says, and how perverse incentives in the corporate world are leading HR professionals to zealously support the active destruction of the American job market (yes, it really is that deep).

I generally do not invite people in for interviews that have for profit universities on their resume. Is this unfair?
I think it shows a lack of sound judgement with a predilection to seek shortcuts in life instead of putting in the work.
Especially when you can usually attend a public university for cheaper and they aren’t going to give you a diploma just for paying on time and showing up.
