It's #AWiderWorld for #JukeboxFridayNight this week, and that made me think of sEODo BAND.
They combine Korean Pansori (musical storytelling performed by a singer and drummer) with pop/jazz/soul and are sometimes referred to as the 'founders of Joseon pop.'
Ganggangsullae is an ancient harvest song, usually sung around Chuseok time. It was added to UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage register in 2009.
