I've been reading Lem's 'The Invicible' and I'm absolutely obsessed with the idea of necroevolution now.
Like, you know when you make generative music and you set the constraints and let emergent interactions arise? I've been wondering how music itself was choosing the selection of constraints. Trying to think of a really weird non-biological acoustic entity that violates ontology just by existing.
