#LoveMakeShare day 24: Shameless self promo day. Do you have a blog, a channel, a store? Strut your stuff and share a link!
Nope. If you're looking for my internet presence, you've found it. I'm not even doing the Desert Bus Craftalong this year so I can't plug that five months in advance. If you're in the Seattle area though, come check out Luminata this September. I love living in a city that actually celebrates the turning of the seasons, and hope to have the Orb there this year.

#LoveMakeShare day 16: Is there a Saturday morning cartoon that you still love?
I didn't get cartoons when I was growing up! My parents weren't a fan of them, and their house received about one and a half channels of broadcast TV.
#LoveMakeShare day 11: Monday again! Do you get to apply your creativity in your day job?
Back when I had a day job, no. That's probably the second biggest reason I burnt out and quit, honestly. I was getting more and more aware that no one would find joy in the results of my work, and I'd rather be creating much more tangible things: useful, beautiful objects, things I can hand to another person, that they can turn over in their hands and feel the weight of.
#LoveMakeShare day 8: Who inspired you this week?
If y'all aren't following @skyguided@cathode.church at this point you really should be. We bounce a lot of project ideas off each other, trade use of our tools (recently, my laser cutter and her 3d printer), and she pushes me to move the limits of what I can do. It's through her that I learned that small-scale PCB fabrication is even a thing, and look where that's taken me.
#lovemakeshare 2: It’s Free Comic Book Day! Have you ever written or drawn comics? If not, would you want to?
I vaguely remember a _very_ shortlived attempt at doing a webcomic about 20 years ago, but that's it.
Truth to be told, doing a webcomic - and, of course, learning how to draw well enough to do one - _does_ sound appealing.
But realistically, my time for hobby projects is very limited, and ultimately my translations of German folk tales is more important to me.
#LoveMakeShare day 3: It's the start of a new week! What's on your workbench?
It's officially crunch time on the Orb Project. SOAK is in a smidge over two weeks and I have to make 66 more fiber optic bundles, do a bunch of detangling on all of them, rework the startup/test cycle and flash all the compute nodes, assemble all the electronic cases, and a few other minor tasks, all before a test build next weekend.
