Sad but true: If you book a journey on the Norwegian Coastal route from the #Hurtigruten company (the other company operating the route is Havila), it is significantly cheaper if you use their website in Norwegian. I really don't understand how this can be legal. WTF, Norway, are you some banana monarchy where companies need to try to scam tourists as much as possible? But yes, I shouldn't be angry at Norway, it is the owners of Hurtigruten that are the baddies here, TDR Capital LLP, a British private equity firm. Is there some obvious detail that I am missing? Note: It does *not* depend on where your browser is. I tried this both after locating myself in Norway with a VPN, and from my true location in Finland.
