Oh, hey! Looks like the #KC-area for-profit electric utility has nearly doubled their "FAC" / fuel adjustment charge between this month and last. Messing with the FAC is a sneaky way for investor-owned utilities to influence the "all in" bill, without getting rate adjustment approval from the state's public service commission. Not that our PSC is worth a damn...
Ya know what doesn't need fuel? Solar and wind! Too bad our state has outright banned new commercial solar...
