• clocks that need adjusting for DST that are intuitive and easy to do: the microwave

• clocks that need adjusting and I have to check the manual: the hot water timer; the weather station

• clocks that need adjusting and I have to check the manual but I refuse to do it and it can stay wrong for 6 months or until a power cut forces a reset: the oven 😵‍💫

Hmm, okay, different question. Where on the Fediverse are there people who are the fixing clock experts? (If I decide to try to learn how to lubricate mine... nice to have experts you can ask an occasional question of...) #clocks

Here's a #NixieTubeClock that I made. I just love these old Weston meters. They mostly sin in basements where nobody gets to appreciate or enjoy them. I think they are absolutely gorgeous. What better way to make them useful again by turning them into a Nixie clock? This one had a resistor in the top that apparently needed all those little holes to dissipate heat, so I stuck a Bluetooth speaker in there too. #electronics #clocks #steampunk
