"The facts of life" - Black Box Recorder Good song on Good Friday shocker! Sara Nixey is on vocals, with Luke Haines from The Auteurs, and John Moore from The Jesus & Mary Chain on guitars. Luke's always made unsettling music: sweet sounds coupled to perverse or violent lyrics. Here, a cut-glass voice trills over an Air-esque backing track, and sing-speaks about adolescent sexual awakenings. It's like an anglophone version of Serge Gainsbourg. Loved by Mark Radcliffe, and a bit of a lost classic. #TOTP #BlackBoxRecorder
