I spent a week going in circles with Blue Rewards/Air Miles to get them to delete my data. They wanted a copy of my drivers licence! That's a no-no (Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada - lovely staff, super helpful). Before you can submit a complaint to the Privacy Commissioner, you have to write to the Privacy Officer for the company. It took the Privacy Officer less than 24 hours to delete my data. Know your rights!
