But Celsius has massive gaps in the measurements of these temperatures. Which is ironically very important to the average American, due to the use of thermostats and air-conditioning. Of course a computerized system will use the decimals to get the correct temperature. But conversationally, you’d have to include the decimals, which is too complicated for casual chit chat.
